SoftMaker Office TextMaker could allow a remote malicious user to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by a record 0x001f sign-extension vulnerability in TextMaker document parsing functionality. By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted file, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the system.
