Vulnerability Summary

Microsoft Internet Explorer could allow a remote malicious user to execute arbitrary code on the system. By persuading a victim to open specially-crafted content, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the system with privileges of the victim.

Microsoft’s November Patch Tuesday roundup of security fixes tackled an unusually large crop of remote code execution (RCE) bugs. Twelve of Microsoft’s 17 critical patches were tied to RCE bugs.
