Buffer Overflow Vulnerability in Tenda RX3 Router via Malicious Time Parameters
Tenda RX3 Router Firmware version US_RX3V1.0br_V16.03.13.11_multi_TDE01 has a buffer overflow vulnerability in the system time configuration settings. The vulnerability exists in the /goform/SetSysTimeCfg endpoint, specifically through the time and timeZone parameters. An attacker can send a crafted packet that triggers this buffer overflow, which can result in a Denial of Service (DoS) condition for the router.
