A vulnerability in Cisco WebEx Meetings Server could allow an authenticated, remote attackers to join meetings they have not been authorized to attend or to end meetings for which they are not the host. The vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted URL request to a vulnerable Cisco WebEx Meetings Server. Cisco has confirmed the vulnerability; however, software updates are not available. To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker must authenticate to the targeted device. This access requirement decreases the likelihood of a successful exploit. Cisco indicates through the CVSS score that proof-of-concept exploit code exists; however, the code is not known to be publicly available.
The Cisco Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT) is not aware of any public announcements or malicious use of the vulnerability that is described in this advisory.
