Cisco Unified Communications Manager Sensitive Information Disclosure Vulnerability

A vulnerability in the disaster recovery system (DRS) of Cisco Unified Communications Manager (UCM) could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to acquire sensitive information about DRS-related devices. The vulnerability is due to extraneous information included in the web page. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by accessing the affected web page and extracting the sensitive information. An exploit could allow the attacker to gain sensitive information about devices configured for DRS use. Cisco has confirmed the vulnerability in a security notice and released software updates. To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker must authenticate to the targeted device. This access requirement decreases the likelihood of a successful exploit. Cisco indicates through the CVSS score that functional exploit code exists; however, the code is not known to be publicly available.
