A vulnerability in the processing of Cisco Discovery Protocol (CDP) packets by Cisco IOS Software for Cisco Industrial Ethernet 2000 Series Switches could allow an unauthenticated, adjacent attacker to cause an affected device to reload. The vulnerability is due to improper processing of crafted CDP packets. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted CDP packet to an affected device. An exploit could allow the attacker to cause the affected device to reload. Cisco has not released software updates that address this vulnerability. There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability.
