A vulnerability in the web framework code of Cisco Prime Collaboration Provisioning (PCP) could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to execute arbitrary SQL queries. The vulnerability is due to a lack of proper validation on user-supplied input in SQL queries. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted URLs that contain malicious SQL statements to the affected application. This vulnerability affects Cisco Prime Collaboration Provisioning (PCP) Releases 12.1 and prior.
Administrators can determine the current PCP release from the Cisco PCP GUI:

Only products listed in the Vulnerable Products section of this advisory are known to be affected by this vulnerability.
There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability.
Cisco has released free software updates that address the vulnerability described in this advisory. Customers may only install and expect support for software versions and feature sets for which they have purchased a license. Additionally, customers may only download software for which they have a valid license, procured from Cisco directly, or through a Cisco authorized reseller or partner. This vulnerability is fixed in Cisco Prime Collaboration Provisioning Releases 12.2 and later.
