The vulnerability is due to a lack of authentication. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by accessing the Policy Builder interface. This vulnerability affects Cisco Policy Suite releases prior to Release 18.2.0.
Administrators can check the release of Cisco Policy Suite that is running on a device by using the about.sh command in the device CLI. The following example shows the output of the command for a device that is running Cisco Policy Suite Release 18.0.0:

Customers may only install and expect support for software versions and feature sets for which they have purchased a license.
