Cisco has released free software updates that address the vulnerability described in this advisory. Customers may only install and expect support for software versions and feature sets for which they have purchased a license. This vulnerability was first resolved in Cisco DCNM Software Release 11.0(1).
The software is available for download from the Software Center on Cisco.com by navigating to Products > Cloud and Systems Management > Data Center Infrastructure Management > Cisco Prime Data Center Network Manager or via direct link.
For RHEL (Linux DCNM install), this patch is applicable only if DCNM is installed at the default install location (/usr/local/cisco/dcm).
The Cisco Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT) has become aware of a public proof-of-concept exploit but is not aware of any malicious use of the vulnerability that is described in this advisory.
