Hi,
The following vulnerability was published for dmidecode.
CVE-2023-30630[0]:
| Dmidecode before 3.5 allows -dump-bin to overwrite a local file. This
| has security relevance because, for example, execution of Dmidecode
| via Sudo is plausible.
If you fix the vulnerability please also make sure to include the
CVE (Common Vulnerabilities & Exposures) id in your changelog entry.
