Multiple vulnerabilities have been discovered in the image loading library for Simple DirectMedia Layer 2, which could result in denial of service or the execution of arbitrary code if malformed image files are opened.

For the oldstable distribution (jessie), these problems have been fixed in version 2.0.0+dfsg-3+deb8u1.

For the stable distribution (stretch), these problems have been fixed in version 2.0.1+dfsg-2+deb9u1.

We recommend that you upgrade your libsdl2-image packages.
