This vulnerability allows remote malicious users to bypass the Mark-Of-The-Web security feature to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Microsoft Windows. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the handling of .MHT files. The issue results from the lack of a security check on .MHT files located in shared folders. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current user.
